Electronic tensile testing machine is a commonly used material testing machine, which is often used for tensile performance testing of plastic films, composite materials, adhesives, tapes, self-adhesives, medical patches, protective films, release paper, backing materials, rubber, paper fibers, etc., peeling, deformation, tearing, heat sealing, bonding, puncture force, opening force, low-speed unwinding force, etc. Before using electronic tensile testing machine, the equipment must be calibrated first to avoid affecting the test results. 1. Speed calibration:
1. First, note the starting position of the machine beam;
2. Then select the speed value on the control panel (using a standard straight steel ruler to measure the cross arm stroke);
3. After the machine starts, the electronic stopwatch will start to time for 1 minute. When the stopwatch clocks, press the machine stop button.
4. According to the time of the stopwatch, record the travel value of the cross arm at a speed per minute (mm/min);
5. Observe the difference between the cross arm stroke value and the straight steel ruler, and calculate the cross arm stroke error value, which should not exceed ±1%.
2. Calibration of various force measurement values of electronic tension testing machines
1. Open the operating interface of the electronic tension testing machine and click the calibration program. We first take a standard weight, hang it on the upper fixture connecting seat, and click to start the test;
2. Then record the power value displayed by the computer and calculate the difference with the standard weight. The error should not exceed ±1%;
3. If there is a big error, there should be a problem with the sensor. Please try resetting the force value of the software and perform multiple tests.
3. Displacement calibration of electronic tension testing machine
This requires resetting the current displacement and then opening the calibration interface which displays the moving distance; this is actually an error and should be reset to make the electronic tensile tester accurate on the next test.
