Operation method and characteristics of cup protrusion test machine

The cup protrusion tester is mainly used to test equipment for measuring the cold stamping deformation performance of metal plates and strips. The equipment adopts mechatronic design and has a neat and generous appearance. It is a precision equipment for testing process performance of metal sheets and strips.
1. Operation method of cup protrusion test machine
1. First understand the structure, principle and operation method of the cupping test machine, and understand the function of each button;
2. Select the cup protrusion experiment mold and measure the width of the sample. The thickness is recorded in the table. The relationship between the cup protrusion experiment mold and the sample size, as well as the width of the sample, the thickness of the sample, the punch diameter, the upper mold aperture, the pad plate aperture, etc.
3. Install the mold and install the mold on the die seat of the experiment machine; install the punch seat on the central piston and place the pressing ring on the pressing piston. The convex stem on the pressing ring and the groove on the pressing piston are the positioning part of the pressing ring;
4. The cup protrusion experiment is only suitable for thin metal plates with a thickness of 0.2 to 2 mm. The cup protrusion blank on BHB-80A is square and the width is not greater than 90×90±1 mm. The blank of the sample should be flat and free of scars and there should be no burrs on the edges.
5. Clean the sample, apply lubricating oil on the side of the sample and the punch spherical surface of the punch, and place the sample on the edge ring. The groove forming a square on the edge ring is the positioning line of the sample blank, and the sample blank can be placed in line.
6. Place the die seat on the cup protrusion test machine in the mold barrel. Press the edge press button and adjust the edge press hydraulic handle to make the edge press hydraulic pressure reach 2.6MPa (edge pressure force = 100±1.0KN).
7. Press the upward button of the central piston and pay attention to the sample. When a light-transmissive crack appears near the dome of the specimen, the central piston is quickly stopped. Turn the knob on the electro-hydraulic controller to return the small ammeter to zero and stop the central piston. Press the button to stop pressing the edges for more timely.
8. Press the stop-swell switch button, start the oil pumping return switch, press the mold seat lift switch, raise the mold seat, and remove the test piece.
9. Repeat steps 5 to 8. Each material should perform more than two experiments, and use the arithmetic average value of the obtained cup depth as the cup depth value of the material.
10. After the experiment is completed, remove the mold.
2. Characteristics of cup protrusion test machine
1. The cup protrusion test machine adopts a new structural principle, which is used to load the servo motor at a constant speed, and can realize constant rate control. The stamping process is controlled by a PC computer, and the stamping speed can be adjusted steplessly and pre-adjusted. (In the past, constant rate control could not be achieved by the oil source after the oil cylinder);
2. The clamping force is independently loaded by the hydraulic oil source, the clamping force can be adjusted, the data is displayed synchronously and can be independently calibrated;
3. The force measuring device has been changed from hydraulic sensors to spoke sensors in the past, and the cup bump value measurement is measured by encoder. Combined with the spoke sensor (direct force measurement) greatly improves the accuracy and reliability of the test machine to measure the cup bump value;
4. The cup bump fixture is easy to replace and the sample is loaded and unloaded. After the sample is placed, press the automatic button to complete the clamping. The test parameters can be input and changed. The stamping process is fully automatic and one-click, without human influence. Closed-loop control can be achieved. The punching pressure value drops and automatically stops the sample when there is a crack. At the same time, it is easy to observe the test process, and can more accurately judge the cup bump value at the moment of cracks. The test data computer displays, and has peak memory function, namely the maximum punch pressure, cup burst value, etc., to realize the report, storage, batch, curve drawing of the test results, and automatically remember the deformation height. After one test, it can automatically return to the state to be tested.
