Purpose of the experiment:
The tensile properties of wheat stems were studied. This experiment mainly studies the mechanical properties of wheat stems and analyzes how to strengthen the lodging resistance of wheat, thereby achieving the purpose of increasing yield, which is conducive to the selection of industrial sheets.
Test selection and measurement parameters
This test uses a tensile test machine with a range of 500N. Things to note
The wheat stems are fixed on the chuck at both ends, but due to slippage and fracture at the chuck, the test is carried out unchanged. In order to increase friction and avoid slippage, screws with a diameter of the stalk are selected. Put the screws on the stems, wrap them tightly with thin lines on the stems, then apply universal glue on them, and wait until the glue is dried before testing. Moreover, keep the stems and horizontal plane perpendicular, otherwise cracks will appear on the chuck position and the tension cannot be accurately measured. The speed should not be too large during the test, otherwise the test data will have a large deviation. Therefore, a 5mm/s speed should be selected to obtain the stress-strain curve, load-time curve and load-deformation curve during the test.
