Universal testing machine

Many companies generally use test machines with problems for testing, but may be limited to industry obstacles and do not know the reasons themselves, which leads to the untrue results of the test. Now we have raised a few equipment failure problems that are usually neglected. We also hope that colleagues can supplement them together so that the test machine can truly play the role of quality control.
1. There are blind spots in the verification of force sensors: 10% or even 20% of the load of the general metrological verification equipment is the starting point of the verification, while many poor quality sensors happen to have a large error below ≤10%;
2. There is instability in the crossbeam movement speed: different experimental velocities will obtain different experimental results, so the speed is also required to be checked and confirmed;
3. Improper material selection of motion beams by the manufacturer: Especially when conducting large tonnage metal tests, because the beam is also subjected to stress and deformation itself will also affect the test results of the electronic universal testing machine. Therefore, it is better to choose good cast steel materials. If it is cast iron materials, sometimes they will even be overwhelmed and directly break;
4. Installation position of displacement sensor: Due to design differences, the installation positions of displacement sensors are different: but the ones installed on the screw will be more accurate than those installed on the motor;
5. Coaxiality (for neutrality) is ignored: it may be the difficulty of the inspection. Almost no one has conducted in-depth investigations on the coaxiality problem of tensile testing machine equipment, but if there are problems with coaxiality, it will definitely affect the experimental results, especially for some tests with smaller loads. I have seen equipment that is not fixed with the fixture base to conduct the test, so how credibility of the data is clear at a glance;
6. Problems with fixtures: After long-term use, the fixture jaws will be worn, the teeth will be deformed, resulting in unreliable clamping, or causing damage to the sample, affecting the final test results;
7. Impact of synchronous belt or reducer: If the equipment is not careful enough in the production process, it will accelerate the aging life of these two parts. If it is not replaced in time, it will affect the results of the experiment;
8. Failure of safety protection device: the consequences may directly damage the equipment. It is recommended to conduct regular inspections, because some may be caused by software failure. Be careful to sail for ten thousand years.
