Understand the displacement of tensile test machine from 3 aspects

Tension testerThe displacement problems are generally divided into three steps: sensor, amplifier unit, and inspection system. The following is a three-step analysis of the displacement problems of tensile testing machines by our company.
Step 1: Check the amplifier unit
After troubleshooting the displacement sensor, check if the amplifier unit is normal. First, the output signal of the large unit must be disconnected. Remove the output wiring, add a DC input signal to the amplifier unit through the workstation, and measure the output condition of the amplifier unit. After repeated several times, the measured output signal of the amplifier unit changes linearly, and determines that the amplifier unit is normal.
Step 2: Check the displacement sensor
becauseTension testerThe system is a closed-loop system. To determine which part of the system fails, you must first disconnect the circuit in the system to make the system an open-loop system. When judging the sensor signal, the feedback signal of the displacement sensor must be disconnected to make the system open loop. At this time, a signal is sent from the workstation to control the movement of the actuator, and then the feedback value of the sensor is measured. After repeated several times, the feedback data of the sensor is measured as a linearly changing line, and it is determined that the sensor is normal
Step 3: Check the system settings
The display in the workstation found that the stroke of the actuator is only ±10mm, which should be ±50mm in normal circumstances. Therefore, it is believed that there is a problem with the system setting and the system needs to be reset. After resetting the stroke of the actuator to ±50mm, the display value on the display panel of the workstation is still incorrect, so it is believed that only by re-marking the positioning and shifting system can this fault be solved.
