Stereomic microscope, also known as solid microscope or anatomical mirror. It refers to a binocular microscope that has a stereoscopic sense of the image, which observes objects from different angles and causes the eyes to cause stereoscopic feeling. The observation body does not need to be processed and manufactured. It can be observed directly under the lens and combined with lighting. It is like being upright, which is easy to operate and dissect. No matter which device we use, there will be some minor failures. The following editor will tell you about the common fault solutions and usage methods of stereo microscopes.

Common fault solutions and usage methods for stereomicroscopes

1. Common solutions to problems of stereomicroscopes

1. Common faults according to actual use include: blurry field of view or dirt. Possible reasons include dirt on the specimen, dirt on the surface of the eyepiece, dirt on the surface of the objective lens, dirt on the surface of the working plate.

2. Clean the dirt on the surface of the specimens, eyepieces, objective lenses and working plates according to actual conditions. The possible reason for the non-coining of double images is that the pupil distance is incorrect adjustment, measures can be taken to correct the pupil distance. If the non-coining of double images is also due to incorrect adjustment of visual degree, the visual degree can be adjusted again. It may also be that the left and right eyepieces have different magnifications. The eyepiece can be checked and the eyepiece with the same magnification is reinstalled.

3. If the image is not clear, it may be that there is dirt on the surface of the objective lens. Please clean the objective lens. If the image is not clear when zooming, it may be that the viewpoint adjustment and the focus is incorrect, the viewpoint adjustment and focus can be re-adjust.

4. If the light bulb is often burned and the light is flickering, it may be that the local wire voltage is too high, and the light bulb is about to burn out and the wire is poor. Please carefully check whether the voltage and the wire connection of the microscope is firm. If not, it may be that the light bulb is about to burn out, and you can replace the light bulb again.

2. How to use stereo microscope

1. After installing the microscope, you can plug in the power plug after ensuring that the power supply voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the microscope, turn on the power switch, and select the lighting method;

2. Select a table plate according to the observed specimens (when observing transparent specimens, use a frosted glass table plate; when observing opaque specimens, use a black and white table plate plate), install it into the hole of the base table plate, and lock it;

3. Loosen the tightening screws on the focus slide, adjust the height of the lens body, and visually measure the working distance to be about 80mm (to make it roughly the same working distance as the magnification of the selected objective lens). After adjusting, lock the bracket, close the safety ring to the focus bracket and lock it;

4. Install the eyepiece, first loosen the screws on the eyepiece barrel, and then tighten the screws after installing the eyepiece (when putting the eyepiece into the eyepiece barrel, be especially careful not to touch the lens surface with your hands);

5. Adjust the pupil distance. When the user observes the field of view through two eyepieces, he should turn the prism box and change the pupil exit distance of the eyepiece barrel so that a completely overlapping circular field of view can be observed (indicating that the pupil distance has been adjusted);

6. Observe the specimen (focus on the specimen). First adjust the viewing circle on the left eyepiece barrel to the 0 mark position. Normally, first observe from the right eyepiece barrel (i.e., fixed eyepiece barrel), turn the zoom cylinder (when there is a zoom device model) to the highest magnification position, turn the focus handwheel to focus the specimen until the image of the specimen is clear, and then turn the zoom cylinder to the lowest magnification position. At this time, use the left eyepiece barrel to observe. If it is not clear, adjust the visual circle on the program barrel axially until the image of the specimen is clear, and then observe its focus effect with both eyes;

7. When the observation is finished, turn off the power supply, remove the specimen, and use a dust cover to tightly cover the microscope.

The above are the common fault solutions and usage methods for stereo microscopes compiled by the editor. Only by having a deep understanding of the product can you use it better.
