Maintenance method of friction and wear tester

For daily maintenance methods, let’s first understand the working form of the friction and wear tester:
Vertical friction and wear testing machines are mainly in the form of sliding, rolling and composite friction, and the contact pressure should not be too large. Different friction pairs are used to evaluate the long-term wear resistance of lubricating oils and greases, as well as the friction and wear performance of metal materials. The machine is generally equipped with three friction pairs such as four balls, pin plates, and thrust rings. According to user needs, it can provide various friction pairs such as ball plates, ball plates, pin plates, simulated cams, gears, etc. The machine can measure friction torque, calculate friction coefficient, connect to the computer, friction coefficient-time curve. Generally, it is equipped with high-precision measurement to achieve computer screen display, measurement and recording of frictional secondary grinding spots.
● When accessories and spare parts are not in use, they should be placed neatly in the corresponding accessories box, and parts that are prone to rust should be coated with anti-rust oil.
● Turn on the power supply and check whether the power supply is normal. If it is normal, perform the second step. If it is not normal, check whether the power supply and the air switch on the strong power board have been turned on.
● When the machine is not running, the sensor cannot be pressed off when the weight is removed. The sample is installed. For the specific installation method, please refer to the figure.
● After the sample is installed, insert the upper sample chuck into the tapered hole at the lower end of the spindle, tighten the pull rod, put the lower sample into the corresponding position of the sample seat, and manually rotate the knurled screws to rise to the lower guide spindle so that the upper and lower friction pairs are close to each other.
● Select the test method, set the parameters, adjust the loading speed, press the automatic loading button. After the test force value is stable, press the start button to start the test.
● When unclear failures occur, users should contact the manufacturer in time to properly resolve them.
●Stop when preset number. During loading, if the pause button is pressed, the application of the test force is stopped.
● Maintenance and maintenance of friction and wear tester. Each part of the tester should be wiped clean frequently. Wipe the surface without paint cleanly and apply cotton yarn to a small amount of engine oil to prevent rust. During the rainy season, you should pay more attention to wiping, and use a machine clothes to cover it to prevent dust from entering. Be careful not to let oil and dust enter the electrical control box.
