An important accessories of electronic universal testing machines - fixtures. They have fixed fixtures in conventional experiments for tensile compression and bending resistance. Many special materials, special models or customers' special requirements require designing different auxiliary tools to complete the experiment.
The clamp of the tensile tester is a locking tool during the test, and the quality of the clamp directly affects the success or failure of our test. The clamp of the tensile tester has no form of structural constraint. According to the experiment, there is a certain gap in the structure of the clamp. In the case of large experimental forces, the inclined surface is usually used, and as the experimental force increases, the clamping force increases accordingly.
Fixtures can be divided into wedge-shaped fixtures (referring to fixtures constructed by the inclined locking principle). This fixture has a wide range of application. For example, sheet-shaped and circular samples, metal and non-metallic materials are used, clamp-type fixtures (referring to fixtures constructed by single-sided or double-sided threaded top tightening principle), winding fixtures (referring to fixtures locked by the specimen after winding), for example, for wire tensile tests, winding fixtures, eccentric fixtures refer to (clips constructed by the eccentric locking principle), lever-type fixtures (referring to fixtures constructed by the lever force amplification principle), shoulder-type fixtures (referring to fixtures suitable for shoulder samples), bolt-type fixtures (referring to fixtures suitable for bolts, screws, studs, etc. that test thread strength), 90° peeling fixtures (referring to fixtures suitable for two samples to stop hanging and straight peeling), etc. The mechanical locking structures include: zippers (i.e. threads, screws, nuts), bevels, eccentrics, levers, etc. The fixtures are combinations of these structures. The structures of these fixtures have their own advantages and disadvantages. For example, wedge-shaped fixtures, the initial clamping force is small, and increases with the increase of experimental force.
