4 requirements for simple-supported beam impact test machine

A simple-supported beam impact tester is used to measure the impact toughness of non-metals such as hard plastics and fibers, nylon, fiberglass, ceramics, plastic electrical insulation materials, etc. It is used as a common equipment for quality testing by scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, and relevant factories and mining companies.

1.Sample notches can be processed on milling machines, beds or special notches. The processing tool should have no inclination angle, and the working angle is15°~20°.

2.Recommended tip line speed is approximately90~185 m/ min, the feed rate is10~130 mm/min.

3.Check the sharpness of the tool. If the radius and appearance are not within the specified range, it should be replaced with a newly polished tool.

4.If the product standards of the test materials have a universal material testing machine, a sample with a molded notch can be used. However, arbitration tests should use mechanical processing methods to process the sample gap. The test results of molded notch samples and mechanical notch samples cannot be compared.
