Find different plastic test

If the same plastic product sample is selected and the plastic tensile testing machine and the metal tensile testing machine are used to test it separately, then are the performance parameters of the product the same? I believe that many people who don’t know about tensile testing machines will have this idea. Since it is a universal material testing machine, why do there still be selection problems? There must be a difference between the two, which is reflected in the following aspects:

1. The pulling range is different, or the sensor range is different.

2. Due to the above 1, the plastic tensile testing machine is thinner than the metal ones. Plastics include single-arm (single-column) and double-arm (gantry) testing machines; metals include double-arm (gantry) (2-column) testing machines or 4-columns.

3. The test speed is different. The controllable speed of plastic is 0~500mm/min or 0~300mm/min; the metal ones should be smaller: 0~300mm/min, 0~60mm/min, etc.

4. Due to the above 1, there are differences in the power system. Plastics are motor loading; metals are divided into click loading and hydraulic cylinder loading.
