A projector is an optical instrument that uses optical elements to enlarge the contour of a workpiece and project it onto a shadow screen. It can be used for contour measurement by transmitting light, and can also be used for reflected light to measure the surface shape of the through-holes and to observe the surface of the part. Projectors are particularly suitable for measuring complex contours and small workpieces, such as watch parts, stamping parts, electronic components, templates, molds, threads, gears and molding tools, etc., with high inspection efficiency and easy to use; they are widely used in metrology rooms and production workshops, and are especially suitable for instrumentation and watch industries.

A projector, also known as a projector, is a device that can project images or videos onto a screen. It can connect and play corresponding video signals with computers, VCDs, DVDs, BDs, game consoles, DVs, etc. through different interfaces. Projectors are currently widely used in homes, offices, schools and entertainment venues. Depending on the working methods, there are different types such as CRT, LCD, DLP. So what are the requirements for the working environment of the projector? Let’s introduce the working environment and operation steps of the projector to you. Let’s take a look:

Working environment and operation steps of projector

1. Projector working environment:

1. The projector should be placed in a low vibration, dry and clean environment.

2. The room temperature should be kept at 20 degrees plus or minus 5 degrees, and the relative humidity should not exceed 60% to prevent the instrument from becoming moldy and rust and causing the quality to decline. When the instrument is not in use, use a dustproof cloth cover and apply anti-rust grease to the exposed metal surface.

3. The X transmission, Y transmission, X-grating scale, and Y-grating scale are all adjusted when leaving the factory (do not disassemble or assembly at will). During use, be careful not to use too much force or impact. When moving the main machine, the workbench fixing block should be installed to avoid accuracy errors caused by impact on the workbench or the workbench moving and impact.

4. When the main power supply is turned on, the host does not work (the indicator light is not on, the axial fan does not turn), check whether the power socket is powered, whether the power plug and the socket are in good contact, and whether the fuse on the power board is blown.

5. When cleaning the optical lens and optical parts, gently wipe it with a mixture of alcohol ether (1:4). You can also use a brush to gently brush off the dust on it or blow away the ash on it with a clean "ear wash ball".

6. Do not touch the projection screen with your hands. If there are handprints or oil stains on the projection screen, you can only wipe it gently with dishwashing liquid first, and then wipe it clean with a little water sticking to the degreased gauze until you are satisfied.

2. Projector operation steps:

(I) Preparation:

1. Check whether the projector switch is in the off position;

2. Check whether the switching power supply and projector circuit are in the on state;

(II) Operation:

1. Start the main power supply of the machine;

2. Turn on the computer;

3. Turn on the projector operation software;

4. Place the calibration sheet on the measuring table and click "Calibration" in the software menu to calibrate the projector;

5. After calibration is completed, place the product to be tested on the projector operating platform;

6. Adjust the clarity of the entire image of the projector until it is clearest. After adjustment, start to pick up points of the measurement item, rotate the screw until all required points are taken, and then read the relevant data;

7. Record relevant data after the test and perform the next round of measurement.

(III), End:

1. Close the operating software program (storage necessary files first);

2. Turn off the computer;

3. Turn off the machine;

4. If there is no follow-up test, cover with a dust cover.

3. Precautions for projectors

1. For safety and measurement accuracy, please do not directly contact the lenses in the internal parts of the machine and the middle part of the surface light source;

2. Wipe the loading platform and surrounding parts regularly to prevent dust from entering the inside of the machine and affecting the accuracy of the machine;

3. The projector is a high-precision instrument and is strictly prohibited from operating by non-professional personnel;

4. Do not place objects that exceed the load bearing on the stage to avoid damaging the machine;

5. Pay attention to prevent scratches on the tabletop during daily operations;

6. Do not install or uninstall the software on the computer without authorization, so as not to cause the system to crash or the operation software to fail to run normally;

7. Regularly lubricate the projector to maintain the accuracy of the instrument.
