1. Testing machine
1. The electronic universal testing machine should have appropriate fixtures. The fixture should not cause the sample to break at the fixture. When any load is applied, the fixtures on the tensile testing machine should be able to be immediately aligned into a line so that the long axis of the sample overlaps the tensile direction of the center line of the fixture.
2. The movement speed of the electronic universal tester fixture should meet the requirements.
3. The display value of the tensile tester is between 10%-90% of the full value.
2. Test steps
1. Use a gauge with an accuracy of 0.1mm to measure the width of the sample. Each sample should measure three points within the gauge distance, take the arithmetic average value, the thickness is accurate to 0.001mm, and the width is accurate to 0.1mm.
2. Clip the sample into the electronic universal material tester fixture, so that the longitudinal axis of the sample overlaps the center of the upper and lower fixtures, and is suitable for tightness. The fixture should be lined with elastic materials such as rubber.
3. If an extensometer is used, before applying stress, the measurement points on both sides of the elongator should be adjusted to match the gauge distance of the sample. The elongator should not allow the sample to bear load.
4. Start the test machine at the specified speed.
5. After the sample is broken, read the required load and the corresponding inter-rectangular elongation value.
