The detection of steel pipe material isHydraulic universal testing machineOne of the tests: steel pipes are used for gasoline transportation pipelines and engineering pipelines. Our company summarizes the following two methods based on the inspection of hydraulic universal testing machines:
1. Single and double extensometer measurement method: The specified total elongation strength measured by the single extensometer method of hydraulic universal testing machine is highly dispersible, and sometimes it is much lower than the lower yield strength, and at the same time, the elastic modulus value will be much lower than the theoretical value. This is an abnormal phenomenon, and the corresponding measurement specified extension strength results are also abnormal. This is mainly because when the hydraulic universal testing machine clamps the plate sample, the coaxial line of the sample is difficult to ensure, and the stress on both sides of the sample width direction is uneven. When the extensometer is clamped on the side with a larger tension, the measured elastic section deformation of the sample will be greater than the normal deformation. When the extensometer is clamped on the side with a smaller tension, the measured elastic section deformation of the sample will be less than the normal deformation. By using the double-extensometer method to test, this abnormal phenomenon will be avoided to a certain extent, and the measurement results of elastic modulus and specified extension strength will become more stable, but cannot be completely solved.
2. Material thickness: The specifications and thickness of X65 pipeline steel are relatively small, and the lower yield strength is obvious. When the specifications and thicknesses are large, the lower yield strength is not obvious. In the test of the same material, the lower yield strength results have good stability, and the specified extension strength results have high dispersion.
