What are the operating procedures of impact testing machines?

Before the test, replace the appropriate pendulum according to the strike energy requirements (the impact energy of the large pendulum is 300J and the small pendulum is 150J).

2. Turn on the power switch of the body, hold the operator to make the pendulum empty (no sample placement), check whether the passive needle of the dial points to zero. If it does not point to zero, adjust the pointer position so that the pointer is zero when the empty point is zero.

3. Use wooden blocks to place the pendulum on the edge of the support, use the notch to center the sample to make the impact sample notch at the center of the span of the support, and the notch surface is on the impact tension side.

4. Press the "Start" button to lift the pendulum, and after it reaches the set height on the spot and stabilizes, clear all obstacles in the blow ring of the pendulum shelves, and turn the dial pointer to the strike energy scale.

5. Press the "Impact" button and knock the sample off by dropping the hammer. When the pendulum swings back, press the "Brake" button. When the pendulum stops swinging, record the impact energy. After the test is over, turn off the operator power supply and the impactor power supply, and hang the operator back to its original position.

Remark:

(1)The pendulum is not allowed to be raised and bent over to place the sample; during the test, personnel are allowed to move inside the pendulum swing plane.

(2)When the sample breaks the pendulum, press "brake" to swing back and forth. Do not use your hands to stop the pendulum that is still swinging.
