Four national sensor standards will be implemented in February 2013

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Management Committee recently approved and issued 362 national standards with Announcement No. 28 of 2012. Four test machine sensor standards drafted by Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute (Shenyang Instrument Institute) have been approved and released and will be implemented on February 15, 2013. The four national standards are: GB/T28854-2012 "Silicon Capacitive Pressure Sensor", GB/T28855-2012 "Silicon-based Pressure Sensor", GB/T28856-2012 "Silicon Piezoresistive Pressure Sensitive Chip", GB/T28857-2012 "Direct Current Differential Transformer Displacement Sensor". The four national sensor standards were implemented in February 2013.

As the leading product of Shenyang Instrumentation Institute, the universal testing machine sensor has been carried out simultaneously in scientific research, production and standardization. During the preparation of the standards, the four editors Zhang Zhiguo, Xu Shuxia, Tang Hui and Li Yongqing overcame the difficulties of heavy scientific research and production tasks, often used their spare time to modify the standards, and also communicated with the testing center about the product testing methods, and put in great effort to successfully complete the four standards. The implementation of the national standard for sensor technology will promote the transformation and upgrading of the sensor industry.

Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute was established on May 5, 1961 (formerly known as Shenyang Instrument Technology Research Institute, originally affiliated to the Ministry of Machinery Industry, and is the national unit of instrumentation components and instrumentation technology). It was reorganized into an enterprise on July 1, 1999 and is now affiliated to China Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. Since 2003, it has successively reorganized the Hangzhou Photo Machinery Research Institute, Qinhuangdao Audiovisual Machinery Research Institute, and Shenyang Vacuum Technology Research Institute, and was identified as a "core business enterprise" by China Machinery Industry Group Corporation.

There is an engineering center, namely the National Engineering Research Center for Sensors; 3 quality inspection centers, namely the National Instrument and Meter Component Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the National Camera Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the National Vacuum Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center; 1 ministerial quality inspection center, namely the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Machinery Industry Film Machinery and Electrochemical Education Equipment Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center; 4 standardization technical committees, namely the Standardization Technical Committee for Machinery Industry Instrument and Meter Component Standardization Technical Committee, the National Photo Machinery Standardization Technical Committee, the Standardization Technical Committee for Machinery Industry Film and Electronic Education Machinery, and the China Vacuum Technology Standardization Technical Committee. The Instrument Components Branch, Instrument Process Branch, and the Sensor Branch of the China Instrument Industry Association are all affiliated with our institute.
