The salt spray test chamber uses salt spray corrosion to detect the corrosion resistance of the samples to be tested. Salt spray refers to the diffusion system composed of tiny salt-containing droplets in the atmosphere. It is one of the three-defense series of artificial environments. Many corporate products need to simulate the destructiveness of the climate around the ocean to the products, so the salt spray test chamber comes into being. Salt spray tests are divided into two types: neutral salt spray and acid salt spray. The difference is that they meet different standards and test methods, called "NSS" and "CASS" tests, which are common testing methods in artificial three-defense climates. What I will share with you this time is what the operating procedures of the salt spray test chamber are. Let’s learn about it together.

What are the operating procedures of the salt spray test chamber?

Operating procedures of salt spray test chamber

1. Please connect the salt spray box power supply and the air compressor power supply first, and connect the air compressor air pipe.

2. Add pure water or distilled water to the water inlet inside and behind the box until the low water level light on the panel is turned off, otherwise the normal operation will not be possible.

3. The connection between the drain pipe and exhaust pipe of the salt spray test chamber is completed. As shown in the previous page, the indicator is open to the left.

4. Add water to the insulation sink to the pad position to prevent salt spray from leaking.

5. Pour the salt water into the salt solution replenishment bottle, that is, automatically fill the salt water and enter the spray tower in the laboratory, so that the potion flows to the salt water spray tower.

6. Add water to the wet bulb cup, cover the gauze with the wet bulb thermometer, and place the end of the gauze in the wet bulb cup.

7. Place the test piece or sample on the storage rack in the salt spray test chamber: the arrangement angle is arranged according to the required standards. For example, the standard test piece 130×70 (mm) can be placed in a 15-degree or 30-degree oblique position.

8. Press the power supply, operate the button, pre-temperature first, and reach the set temperature. Note: The test cover must be covered and placed carefully to avoid damage.

9. Press the timing button to count according to the set time.

10. If there are any abnormalities during the test, please refer to the functional abnormality judgment table for processing.

Mechanical equipment is essentially the same. Only by mastering the correct method can the entire experimental process be smoother and the experimental data are more accurate. The above is a related introduction to the operating procedures of the salt spray test chamber.
