How to operate the wire rope bending fatigue test machine?

The wire rope bending fatigue test machine is used to test the bending fatigue performance of aircraft operating wire ropes with diameters ranging from 1.6mm to 9.5mm, aviation wire ropes and unembroidered steel wire ropes. The number of bending fatigues when the first steel wire is broken, or the number of bending fatigues when one or all of the sample is broken, or the number of bending fatigues when the number of broken wires in a twist distance reaches the specified value, or the number of bending fatigues when the sample reaches the specified number, etc. This machine adopts advanced PLC technology, with reliable tests, intuitive readings, and parking alarm functions, and is a must-have product for enterprises and scientific research units for the production and use of ropes and non-embellished steel ropes. How to operate the wire rope bending fatigue test machine?

1. The test is generally carried out within the room temperature range of 10℃~35℃, and the temperature during the arbitration test is 23℃ to 5℃.

2. Before the test of the wire rope bending fatigue test machine, test parameters should be selected according to relevant technical requirements, and the surface and size of the test wheel groove should be checked, and there must be no defects that affect the use. The test wheel grooves should be clean and must not be oiled.

3. Install the wire rope sample on the test machine. Fix the end, apply tension, and then mark the effective length, while measuring the actual diameter of its straight part. The marking part is a wire rope section that bypasses the test wheel. During the arbitration test, the marking length is 2.5 times the diameter of the test wheel segment circle.

4. Start the power supply and reset the counting device to zero.

5. Start the wire rope bending fatigue test machine and stop the machine once every 24 hours of operation. The machine should not be stopped for more than 30 minutes during shutdown. Observe the wire rope segments that bypass the test wheel, use visual tests or wire rope flaw detector to check the breaking of the wire rope in the wire rope, and measure the wire rope diameter and effective length of the wire rope mark until the specified number of test cycles are completed. If the number of broken wires or strands specified in the relevant product standards or protocols should be stopped during the test.

6. After the test is completed, loosen the rope clamps at both ends of the wire rope, gently remove them from the test machine, and unfold the wire rope and do not bend. Select the most severe damage to the wire rope to cut off the length of a twist distance (the length of one twist distance is about 6.5d, where d is the nominal diameter of the wire rope, unit is millimeters), check and record the number of broken wires.
