The deformation test of the electronic universal test machine refers to the changes in the shape, size and position of the deformed body in time or space under the action of various loads. Deformation monitoring is also called deformation measurement or deformation observation. Deformation measurement is to periodically and repetitively observe the observation points set on the deformed body, and obtain the changes in the observation points periods relative to the first stage point or elevation.
The electronic universal test lateral deformation test mainly includes the following four points:
1. Technical parameters of deformation measurement: The deformation measurement index parameters include measurement range, display error, sensitivity and resolution.
2. Measurement range---The range between small sizes of materials or components measured by the test machine through the measurement system.
3. Display value error---The difference between the measured value recorded or displayed by the sample deformation value and the actual measured value is called the display value error of the test machine measurement system. Indication errors are inevitable, and their size is within a prescribed or standard range.
4. Test machine deformation measurement sensitivity---the displacement rate of the sensitivity indicator relative to the measurement change. Sensitivity is a hallmark of measuring physical instruments. The higher the sensitivity of the test machine measurement system, the higher the accuracy of the measurement results.
The grade and accuracy of deformation measurement of electronic universal testing machines depend on the deformation allowable value and the purpose of deformation measurement. It is generally believed that if the purpose of observation is to make the deformation value not exceed a certain allowable value to ensure the safety of the building, the error in observation should not be less than 1/10~1/20 of the allowable deformation value; if the purpose of observation is to study the deformation process, the observation accuracy should be higher.
The deformation measurement of the electronic universal test machine is to use the test machine to monitor the changes of the deformation body.
