Common test methods for film tensile testing machines

The film tensile tester passes through the controller and controls the rotation of the servo motor through the speed control system. After deceleration, the speed control system rises and falls through the crossbeam of the precision screw sub-belt to complete the mechanical performance test of the sample, such as tensile, peeling, tearing, and compression, and has a wide speed control range. Each electronic tensile testing machine has several methods, and the test data and results required for different materials are different, so the test methods used are also different. 1. Seal test: The sealing strength can be obtained by using the sealing test. This test is related to the width and thickness of the sample.

2. Tensile test: refers to a test method for measuring material characteristics under axial tensile load. The data obtained from the tensile test can determine the elastic limit, elongation, elastic modulus, proportional limit, area reduction, tensile strength, yield point, yield strength and other tensile performance indicators of the material. Creep data can be obtained from tensile tests performed at high temperatures.

3. Tearing test: The tearing load and tearing strength can be obtained.

1. Trouser-type tearing method: Trouser-type tearing method is a test method for tear resistance of plastic films and sheets. It is to evaluate the force peeling test required for tearing after the material is cut in advance, and can obtain peeling force and small force. The parameters mainly correspond to the head and tail removal. Conventional ones have 90 degrees and 180 degrees of peeling, which mainly determines how much force the two different materials should be pulled apart with bonding together.

2. Right-angle tearing: In order to facilitate opening of the packaging bag, a right-angle gap is often cut on the edge. According to the requirements of some product standards and the needs of customers and the needs of plastic films or sheets, right-angle tearing performance tests must be performed.
