Wires and cables are used to transmit information and data to form a well-connected communication network. Communication cables provide the following 5 items based on operating conditions, transmission protocol and other standards:
1. According to the laying and operating conditions, it can be divided into: overhead cables, direct buried cables, pipeline cables and underwater cables, etc.;
2. According to the transmission spectrum, it can be divided into: low-frequency cables and high-frequency cables.
3. According to the cable core structure, it can be divided into two categories: symmetrical cables and asymmetrical cables. Symmetrical cables refer to the ground distribution parameters of the two conductors forming the communication circuit mainly refer to cables with the same distribution capacitance to the ground, such as twisted cables; asymmetrical cables refer to the ground distribution parameters of the two conductors forming the communication circuit, such as coaxial cables.
4. According to the insulation material and insulation structure of the cable, it is divided into: solid polyethylene cable, foam polyethylene cable, foam solid leather polyethylene insulated cable, and polyethylene gasket insulated cable, etc.
5. According to the type of cable sheath, it can be divided into: plastic sleeve cables, steel wire and steel belt armored cables, combined sheathed cables, etc.
